Trailside Station in Winter Garden FL is a non-gated community. Trailside Station is located west of downtown Winter Garden and along the northern side of the West Orange Trail. The main entrances are on Simeon Road. The roads inside the community have names keeping with the railroad theme. Just a few of the street names are Station Drive, Trailside Ct and Station Way.
Trailside Station is across from the Hull Island at Oakland entrance. You may have to look closely to see the Trailside Station community sign. The Florida Turnpike is about 100 yards to the east of the neighborhood sign.
The first homes in this community were built in 2000 and all the homes were completed by the end of 2003. The homes are newer than many in Oakland FL or Winter Garden FL but there are some local choices. The smallest of these homes is around 1,600 square feet while the larges homes are just over 2,600 square feet. All the homes are traditional single-family style homes. There are no condos or townhomes just attractive homes and lots of trees.
The local area is somewhat suburban. Lots of country roads that quickly lead to civilization. Colonial Drive is just south and there is a Publix Supermarket and Target within just a few miles to the east and west respectively. Of course, access to the Florida Turnpike is also minutes away. Downton Winter Garden usually takes around 10 minutes but it is an enjoyable drive to me.
