I remember when they cleared these fields for the Publix and the Walmart just to the north. How much has changed since then although it was not really that long ago. Did you know that you can order your food from here by using instacart.com ? If you don't like spending a lot of time in the store you should try it at least once. Not to mention all of the BOGO's etcetera are shown there. Yes, you can usually have food delivered to your home but at a higher cost for delivery etc.

Publix Waterleigh in Horizon West

Probably my new favorite just because it is often easier to stop by when driving down Avalon Road. This too is a full service Publix Supermarket and the residents in Waterleigh are thrilled. The parking lot could be a little more access friendly. This Publix is lightly larger and has the upstairs cafeteria than only the nicer stores have. I do not know if it is totally legal (nor do I care) but I know some Waterleigh residents have driven their golf carts to this store. Regardless a tip of the hat to the many fine and amazingly cordial employees that help me keep returning to the Publix Supermarket chain.
