The main community entrance is located off the southern side of Colonial Drive and well out of view. You will notice the Racetrack and 7-11 Gas Stations/ convenience stores. There is also a red light making it much easier and safer for residents to travel to and from the neighborhood.

Johns Cove was completed in 2018 but the first homes here were built in 2000. People were allowed to purchase lots and build at their leisure years ago. That resulted in build dates like this. Sometimes it is a good thing especially in lakefront communities with an HOA to make sure the homes are nice. The smallest homes here are around 2,056 square feet. The largest homes are over 6,000 square feet. There are a total of 68 homes here with a couple of buildable lots as of today. The community also has a boat ramp for residents which is inside of the gate.

Local to Johns Cove are the following. Publix Supermarket is 2.5 miles away to the west on Colonial Drive. In the area around the Publix there is also a Target and many other stores and some restaurants. Access to the Florida Turnpike is a mere ¼ of a mile east on Colonial Drive which will connect you to the local turnpike and help you go anywhere around this area or Greater Orlando. Downtown Winter Garden is a 4-mile drive eastward.
