Courtlea Park in Winter Garden FL is a non-gated community. Courtlea Park is in northern Winter Garden and along the side of the West Orange Trail. The main community entrance is on East Division Street and is about a one-mile drive to downtown portion of the city.
Courtlea Park only contains 42 homes. The homes are the traditional single-family design albeit somewhat larger and nicer than the homes you will find in some of the city’s older neighborhoods. The smallest home here is a 2,290 square foot 4 bedroom and 3 full bath home.
The largest home is 3,500 square feet and the median size is 2,800 square feet. Those are respectable numbers for most communities. The last house built in Courtlea Park was in 2007 just one year after the first home completed.
Courtlea Park has no real amenities to speak of. That certainly helps when it comes to the HOA fees. One of the reasons this neighborhood was built without a great deal of amenities is the many county and city parks nearby. Less than 1 mile away and on the shore of Lake Apopka is Farnsworth Pool and Newton Park.
These are a great place to visit, take children or start a day’s activities. At the park there is a public boat ramp, children’s playground, fantastic pier, trails and picnic areas. Of course, you can also take the West Orange Trail to Chapin Station which has many more attractions or head downtown for the weekly farmer’s market.
